The Many Adventures of Maddi the CP

Hey there, hi there, ho there! My name is Madison (Maddi) Heckman and I am participating in the Disney College Program, Spring Advantage, from January to August 2019 as a Merchandise cast member. This has been a dream of mine for the longest time, and I am so excited to begin this internship! I cannot wait to see what this experience has in store for me.

I've been a big Disney fan all of my life. With my family being members of the Disney Vacation Club, I have been so blessed to experience Disney World (around 13 times), Disneyland (twice), venturing on a few Disney Cruises, and even visiting Disneyland Paris while studying abroad. Some of my favorite memories include marching in a parade down Main Street as part of a high school music trip and exploring the parks with my family during Extra Magic Hours (early/late hours the park is open just for Disney resort guests). Each trip has been so magical and meaningful, and I am excited to see what these 7 months bring!

When I'm not obsessing over Disney, you can find me rooting for the Penn State and Philly sports teams (Fly, Eagles, Fly!), exercising, or traveling. I am also a film and theater enthusiast!

I am currently a junior at Gettysburg College, majoring in Organization & Management Studies with a minor in Theatre Arts.

*Fun fact: The name of my blog is derived from the famous Magic Kingdom attraction "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh"!
